Restoration Technician – Water, Mold & Smoke Mitigation

We are a rapidly growing Toronto plumbing and restoration company looking for a hardworking Restoration Technician to join our team. Because we handle major plumbing emergencies and waterproofing in-house, we have a steady stream of mitigation projects. If you take pride in helping property owners recover from water, fire, and mold damage, we want you on our crew.

Key Responsibilities

- Water Mitigation: Perform emergency water extraction, set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers), and conduct moisture mapping.
- Mold Remediation: Set up proper containment barriers, remove contaminated materials safely, and apply antimicrobial treatments.
- Smoke & Fire Cleanup: Clean and deodorize structures, remove soot, and prep properties for final rebuilds.
- Controlled Demolition: Carefully remove damaged drywall, flooring, and cabinetry as needed while protecting the rest of the property.
- Documentation: Accurately record moisture readings, take job site photos, and document daily progress for insurance reporting.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience & Certifications: Previous experience in restoration is required.



IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT) are a massive asset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy drying equipment, perform demolition, and comfortably wear required PPE (including respirators) for extended periods.
- On-Call Flexibility: Property emergencies happen 24/7. You must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend dispatch.
- Valid Driver's License: Must hold a valid Ontario G license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
