Position Responsibilities
Sushi Chef
- Prepare high-quality nigiri, sashimi, and sushi bar items
- Handle fish breakdown, cutting, and filleting
- Complete ingredient preparation and maintain freshness
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Work efficiently as part of the sushi bar team
Roll Chef
- Prepare a variety of signature sushi rolls
- Complete daily sushi bar preparation and station setup
- Organize ingredients and maintain a clean workstation
- Prepare orders accurately and efficiently during busy service
- Beginners are welcome, and training will be provided
Kitchen Staff
- Prepare and plate hot and cold menu items
- Assist with tempura, yakitori, appetizers, and main dishes
- Complete daily kitchen preparation and support the kitchen line
- Maintain kitchen inventory, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Beginners are welcome; previous commercial kitchen experience is an asset
Dishwasher
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Wash and organize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Support general kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Maintain a clean and organized dish station
- No previous experience required
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Solid attention to cleanliness and organization
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset
- Beginners are welcome for selected positions
- Sushi Chef applicants should have professional sushi-making experience
