Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Clerk to join our team.

The Retail

Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting daily retail store operations. This role involves assisting customers with seafood product selection, ensuring proper product display and freshness, and preparing and packaging orders accurately.

Clerk must maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and product quality in accordance with company policies and food safety regulations. This position also supports sales goals by delivering knowledgeable service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to overall team operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities





- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
- Provide accurate information regarding seafood products, including preparation, storage, and handling
- Display, rotate, and replenish seafood products, ensuring freshness, quality, and visual appeal
- Prepare, package, and label customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory monitoring and stock management activities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain food safety standards
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet sales and customer service goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Retail Supervisor

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to cold storage and wet environments
- Handling seafood products, including potential allergens
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
