Xskin is a Burnaby-based retailer specializing in smart device protection and accessories—including phone cases, screen protectors, chargers, and custom-printed items. Located inside Metropolis at Metrotown, we have been serving customers with quality, affordable tech accessories since 2006.We are hiring a motivated part-time Sales Associate to join our energetic retail team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enthusiastic about technology, and skilled at building rapport.

In this role, you will help drive sales, deliver product expertise, and create memorable shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Sales & Service: Greet and engage customers to assess needs, recommend tailored solutions, and upsell or cross-sell to increase basket value.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate products clearly, highlighting features and benefits (cases, screen protectors, custom items, etc.).
- Transactions: Accurately process sales, returns, and cash-handling procedures using our POS system.
- Merchandising: Maintain attractive, on-brand product displays, restock shelves, and keep the sales floor clean and organized.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer questions and issues promptly and professionally, both in person and via phone.
- Teamwork:



Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual and store sales targets.

Qualifications & Skills

- Communication: Excellent verbal English communication; bilingual or multilingual skills are a welcome asset.
- Experience: Retail, technology, or technical sales experience is preferred.
- Sales Ability: Proven ability to deliver informative product demonstrations, use persuasive selling techniques, and maintain a results-driven mindset.
- Tech & Operations: Comfortable working with smartphones/tablets, learning product details, and demonstrating robust numerical accuracy for transactions.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding relationship-building skills, effective time management, multitasking abilities, and professional phone etiquette.
- Availability: Reliable, punctual, and able to work versatile shifts (evenings, weekends, and holidays based on mall hours).
