Role Overview
Supply Ontario is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to provide senior technical expertise, systems analysis, solution design, implementation, integration, and production support for enterprise I⁢ solutions.
The successful candidate will have robust experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO/C365CM, Data Management Framework (DMF), Power Platform, Dataverse, system integrations, and enterprise applications, along with strong knowledge of supply chain business processes.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar IT systems-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO/C365CM, including system configuration and support.
- Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) and system integrations within D365 environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Pages
- Dataverse
- Experience delivering large-scale, business-critical enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and related business processes, including:
- Product Information Management
- Master Planning
- Procure-to-Pay
- Order-to-Cash
- Strong understanding of enterprise application environments and system integration concepts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system-level designs and configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead solution workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and align business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart or similar tools.
- Ability to support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical expertise,
project leadership, and coordination of activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of cost-effective I⁢ solutions.
- Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I⁢ solutions and applications to achieve program and service goals and objectives efficiently.
- Provide specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of systems solution design and architecture.
- Evaluate recommendations and ensure proposed solutions align with project goals and objectives.
- Identify short- and long-term project goals and objectives.
- Define and identify program and service delivery requirements supporting the development and/or acquisition of client applications.
- Lead the analysis, development, and documentation of systems solution designs and architectures.
- Lead the development of testing, integration, and implementation of systems solutions into client applications.
- Guide feasibility studies and cost-effective analyses for proposed client I⁢ initiatives and ensure all studies and analyses are documented.
- Lead technical aspects of projects related to the development and/or acquisition of diverse client applications throughout all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Plan, schedule, and estimate resources while providing technical expertise, coordination, progress monitoring, and project status updates to management.
- Gather requirements and translate business documents into detailed technical specifications.
- Lead development and support teams working with multi-dimensional and relational databases and their applications for planning, budgeting, strategizing, and forecasting.
- Design and develop complex applications utilizing relational and multi-dimensional databases.
- Provide implementation and post-implementation support as required.
- Oversee research and evaluation of technical components related to the acquisition of software, hardware, technology, systems, and products.
- Recommend and direct the measurement and improvement of tools, techniques, standards, and performance criteria to maintain application development quality.
- Provide coaching and direction to junior analysts throughout projects and across all stages of the SDLC.
Preferred / Desired Experience
- Experience supporting or participating in D365 F&O; implementations.
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) operating models.
- Experience working with eCommerce or related integrated platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience with middleware and gateways.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation according to methodology.
- Good working knowledge of Dimensions and Facts.
- Knowledge of multidimensional structures/cubes.
- Ability to gather, review, and provide feedback on business requirements.
