About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique business needs and translate these into effective technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Your expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura, will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing customized applications that enhance client operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, architects, and consultants to ensure best practices are followed, deliver high-quality code, and support ongoing system enhancements. This position offers an excellent chance to work on impactful projects with some of the most prominent companies in the tech and finance sectors, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work within Canada.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce development with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, including at least 3 years working extensively with Lightning Web Components.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and documentation of Salesforce applications.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in creating Apex classes, triggers, and integrating with APIs.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce object model, SOQL, and SOSL queries.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada, with the ability to provide proof of citizenship or valid visa.
Preferred qualifications include bilingual proficiency in English and French, relevant certifications such as PD2, JavaScript Developer I, or System Architect, experience with data migration, MuleSoft integrations, and familiarity with AngularJS, jQuery, Google Cloud Platform, or Salesforce AppExchange deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to implement best practices in Salesforce development and architecture.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards and quality benchmarks.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, promoting best practices to maximize Salesforce utilization.
- Participate in client meetings to communicate project status, gather feedback, and recommend optimal solutions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve development processes,
deployment strategies, and system performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
- Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success and client satisfaction.
