Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals for Sawmill work, where you will play a vital role in the production and processing of custom timbers. This position involves operating various machinery and tools to ensure high-quality output while maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in equipment handling, with a solid focus on precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Operate sawmill machinery, including band saws and circular saws, to cut logs into lumber.
- ​Operate and maintain chainsaws.
- Fabricate custom wood components based on project specifications.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts or other warehouse equipment.




- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

- Previous experience in a sawmill or woodworking environment is an assest but not required.
- Hands-on experience with power tools and machining equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and practices will be beneficial.
- Ability to operate machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
