Role Description The Seasonal Technical Representative is a seasonal, on-site role based in North Vancouver, BC. This position supports retail partners and end customers by providing product-focused technical guidance, answering questions, and resolving issues related to outdoor gear and equipment. Daily responsibilities include assisting with in-store product demonstrations, troubleshooting common technical problems, and delivering clear, helpful information to customers and sales staff.

The role also involves supporting sales efforts through knowledgeable recommendations, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with the sales team to improve service and product positioning.

Representative maintains accurate records of customer interactions and works closely with internal colleagues to ensure a positive and informed experience for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide effective Technical Support and perform hands-on Troubleshooting of outdoor products and related equipment.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers, retail partners, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and solution-oriented support.
- Sales skills, including product knowledge, consultative selling, and the ability to support retail partners in meeting their goals.
- Interest in and knowledge of outdoor activities, gear, and industry trends; prior experience in retail or outdoor industry roles is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site and seasonal work in North Vancouver, BC, and Western Canada including seasonal peak periods and occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple customer requests at once.
- Comfort using basic computer systems and communication tools; willingness to learn company-specific platforms and processes.
