Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard role located in the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area.

The Security

Guard will monitor assigned sites, patrol premises, and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.

Responsibilities include controlling access to facilities, verifying identification, responding to alarms or incidents, and documenting daily activities and occurrences in detailed reports. The role also involves liaising with clients, visitors,



and emergency responders, providing clear information and support when needed.

Security

Guards are expected to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional presence, and uphold high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Physical Security and Private Security skills to patrol sites, monitor access points, and respond effectively to incidents.
- Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in Personnel Security to support safe work environments and protect individuals on-site.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for security work in Ontario (or eligibility to obtain them) are beneficial.
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods, handle stressful situations calmly, and follow detailed procedures and protocols.
- Strong observational, reporting, and incident documentation skills, with basic computer literacy for logging reports.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
