Lightmatter is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to take ownership of several major customer accounts. In this highly visible role, you will be the face and voice of Lightmatter, driving the entire sales cycle from initial engagement through deal closure.

You will also be the voice of the customer to the Lightmatter leadership team. The role requires the development of a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to position Lightmatter's solutions to meet them. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that meet target revenue numbers and expands Lightmatter’s footprint within key accounts.

Apply a deep understanding of customer pain points and business objectives to clearly communicate the value of Lightmatter's solutions and work with the Lightmatter product team to deliver them. Be the voice of the customer with the internal teams — including engineering, marketing, finance, and legal — to ensure seamless delivery and a strong customer experience. Identify, manage, and close net new business opportunities as well as collaboration across the team to help everyone win.

Produce accurate sales forecasts and present pipeline activity directly to Lightmatter CEO, CFO and SVPs. Lead negotiations and close complex deals with large enterprise customers. Be a hunter with 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor or datacenter industry, including at least 5 years in direct sales or strategic account management.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. Robust working knowledge of datacenter infrastructure (CPU, GPU, networking). Proven ability to drive complex sales processes, with a track record of revenue growth and closing greenfield opportunities as well as expanding within accounts.
