Role Description The Senior Accountant will perform full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes. This full-time remote role will support multiple clients by preparing accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Accountant will collaborate with client CFOs and finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis, and assist with audit preparation and documentation. Additional responsibilities include improving accounting processes,



implementing or optimizing accounting technology tools, and providing responsive, professional communication to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting fundamentals, including GAAP knowledge, general ledger management, and month-end close experience.
- Proficiency with accounting and finance tools such as cloud-based ERP or accounting software, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management and operational reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reconciliations, and identify and explain variances and trends.
- Solid understanding of internal controls, audit preparation, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to support multiple clients in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward a skilled accounting designation is a plus.
- Experience in fractional, outsourced, or multi-client finance roles, and familiarity with technology consulting or process improvement is beneficial.
