OpenText Content Aviator is OpenText's AI-powered and agentic platform that brings generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) across our Information Management portfolio. It enables conversational search, content summarization, translation, intelligent automation, and task orchestration directly within OpenText applications. Beyond delivering out-of-the-box AI experiences, Content Aviator provides the foundation for building sophisticated low-code and custom agentic solutions that help customers automate complex business processes, surface actionable insights, and unlock greater value from their enterprise content and data.

Your Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to help build cutting-edge AI-powered applications and agentic experiences. In this role, you will work as a key contributor in the development of intelligent systems using LangChain, LangGraph, Node.js, Python, and Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and agentic workflows.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and creative AI solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of significant technical deliverables, contribute to architectural discussions, and help drive engineering excellence through strong development practices and collaboration.

You will contribute to the ongoing evolution of Content Aviator as a strategic agentic platform, enabling OpenText teams and customers to develop powerful low-code and custom agentic solutions across the OpenText product portfolio. This flagship platform leverages advanced AI capabilities to transform how organizations manage,



automate, and interact with enterprise information.

What the Role Offers:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will:

- Design and develop AI-driven applications using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and platform capabilities using Node.js and Python.
- Take ownership of significant features and technical initiatives from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Content Aviator platform and its agentic AI capabilities.
- Design and build intelligent agents and orchestration workflows that solve real-world business challenges.
- Develop and optimize RAG pipelines to improve LLM performance using enterprise content and data sources.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production systems while ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and engineering planning activities.
- Apply best practices in code quality, performance, security, testing, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Stay current with advancements in AI, agentic systems, LLMs, and related technologies.

What You Need to Succeed

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and RAG techniques.
- Experience integrating vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) with LLM-based applications.
- Experience delivering complex software solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive technical work to completion.
- Experience collaborating effectively with product managers, architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of software architecture, scalability, distributed systems, operational considerations, and production support.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong engineering discipline, secure coding practices, and software quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proven track record of successfully shipping AI-powered products to market.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing production-grade RAG pipelines using LangGraph.
- Experience with Google Gemini, OpenAI, or open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral).
- Experience building or deploying agentic AI systems in enterprise environments.
- Background in NLP, knowledge graphs, semantic search, or AI-powered information retrieval.
- Contributions to open-source AI/LLM projects.
- Familiarity with observability, evaluation, and monitoring tools for AI systems.
