Vice President /Senior Director, Marketing

Help build Canada’s next global success story.

We are hiring for is one of Canada’s fastest growing technology companies, recognized by Deloitte as the #1 Enterprise Software company in the Deloitte 2025 North American Technology Fast 500.

This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Marketing leader to join a high growth Canadian technology company at a pivotal stage of its journey, with a clear path toward a future VP role.

We are looking for someone who has been there before. A leader who has helped companies scale, built teams and financial infrastructure, navigated complexity and knows how to evolve a Marketing function as a business moves into its next chapter.

You will work closely with the CMO, CEO, fellow Directors and C suite leadership team in a highly collaborative setting where Marketing is a strategic partner to the business.

This is an opportunity to help shape what comes next.

The Mandate

As Director, Marketing, you will take full ownership of the marketing department, building and executing the strategy that drives demand, pipeline, and brand growth, with a clear path to grow into a VP-level mandate within 1–2 years.

Your mandate will include:

- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy tied to company OKRs, budget, pipeline, and revenue goals.
- Own demand generation across the full funnel, from lead creation through pipeline, customer acquisition, and ARR.
- Lead enterprise and account-based marketing programs in close partnership with sales.
- Define product marketing, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new and existing products.
- Strengthen brand and category presence, including how the market understands and perceives the company.
- Lead organic growth through content, SEO, social, and AI search.
- Own performance marketing and paid acquisition across channels including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn Ads, and other new ad channels.

- Build scalable marketing operations: analytics, reporting, systems, processes, and attribution.
- Identify and implement practical AI and automation opportunities that improve marketing productivity and performance.
- Lead, develop, and scale a cross-functional team across design, content, social, PR, events, field marketing, and lifecycle/nurture.
- Ensure marketing and sales stay tightly aligned on programs, collateral, enablement, target accounts, and pipeline outcomes.

Who You Are

- You build clear systems, maintain strong operating cadence, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- You make sound decisions, take initiative, and execute with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- You understand enterprise buying cycles, sales alignment, demand generation, and pipeline economics. B2C-only experience is not a fit.
- You have supported a B2B software business through a comparable growth phase, ideally from approximately minimum $25M ARR to north of $100M+ ARR
- You have managed meaningful marketing budgets, ideally above $100K per month, with accountability for pipeline, revenue, and return on spend.
- You have led sizable in-house and distributed teams, including outsourced partners, and can drive consistent execution across functions.
- You can set strategy while remaining hands-on enough to establish processes, improve systems, and solve execution gaps.
- You work closely with executive leadership and sales, communicate clearly, and bring a low-ego, practical approach.

- You are ready to grow from a Directorlevel operator into a broader VP role as the company scales.

You bring:

- Proven experience owning marketing strategy and execution in a B2B SaaS or B2B software company
- A track record of scaling demand generation and pipeline in a company moving through significant growth
- Deep experience with account-based marketing and close sales alignment
- Strong command of product marketing, positioning, and brand-building
- Experience managing both organic (content, SEO, AI search) and paid (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) channels
- Experience building or maturing marketing operations, analytics, and systems
- A track record of managing marketing budgets exceeding $100K/month
- Experience leading larger teams, including global or outsourced talent
- The organization and independence to run the function with minimal oversight while still keeping leadership aligned

Why This Role

You will join at a moment when the business has real momentum and a marketing function ready to be shaped by the right leader.

This role is being built with a clear trajectory in mind: strategic leadership stays close to the executive team today, but the runway to VP is real and near-term for the right person. You'll inherit a team already in motion and the mandate to build it into something bigger.

You will have the opportunity to define the marketing playbook, build out the team as the function scales, and become the person who takes the brand and the pipeline to the next stage of growth.

For the right leader, this role is more than a title.

It is the opportunity to build a marketing organization from a position of real ownership, grow into a C-suite mandate, and help shape how the company is known in its market.

If you've scaled marketing through a similar stage before and you're ready to run it independently, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
