Position: Senior Maintenance Technician

Duration/Type: Full Time

Location: Field, in and around the GTA

Pay: $30.77 - $36.07

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

- Valid Class G license with an acceptable Driver's Abstract
- AR-Z / AZ license is a must
- Experience in cabling and coring hard cable
- Experience pulling cable
- Experience operating a mini excavator digging holes and trenches
- Experience installing underground vaults/GLB's
- Experience reading locate packages
- Experience with hand tools, quick cut saw and tampers
- Experience with line extendors (actives) and end of line taps
- Experience using an RF meter equivalent to ONX630 and digital mult meter
- Able to assist Senior Maintenance Technician with tracking noise and outages
- Advanced experience with TDR/Leakage Meters/Cable Locators with an A-frame
- Experience balancing (sweeping) upstream and downstream signals including diagnosing AC issues
- Experience taking initiative and showing a clear demonstration of leadership in all situations
- Work in all outdoor conditions.
