Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP FI Functional Consultant / AMOA to support the deployment of a global SAP S/4HANA Finance Core Model within a local Canadian subsidiary.

This is a business-facing functional role , acting as the key liaison between the local Finance organization (CFO, Finance users and key stakeholders) and the central SAP implementation team.

The position is heavily focused on SAP FI (approximately 70–80%) , with some CO exposure. This is not a configuration or development-heavy position .

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the local SAP Finance AMOA / functional SPOC between Finance stakeholders and the central SAP Core Model team.
- Lead and support Fit-to-Core / Fit-Gap workshops and assess local requirements against the global template.
- Identify Canadian/local financial, tax, legal and regulatory requirements .
- Challenge business requirements and promote adoption of the global SAP standard wherever possible.
- Support SAP FI processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, closing and related Finance processes .
- Coordinate UAT , including scenarios, test data, defect follow-up and business validation.
- Support Finance master data / MDM , including collection, cleansing, enrichment and validation.
- Participate in data migration rehearsals, mock loads,



reconciliation and sign-off .
- Coordinate Finance activities during cutover, go-live and hypercare .
- Support user readiness, training and change-management activities.
- Communicate project status, risks, gaps and decisions to local management and the central implementation team.

Required Experience
- Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP FI / S/4HANA Finance .
- Good working knowledge of SAP CO .
- Proven experience with at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout or deployment .
- Strong experience deploying a global template/Core Model to local entities or countries .
- Experience with Fit-to-Standard, Fit-to-Core or Fit-Gap workshops.
- Robust knowledge of Finance master data / MDM and data migration .
- Experience with UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare .
- Understanding of Finance localization and local statutory requirements.
- Strong business-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with CFO-level stakeholders, Finance users and central SAP teams .
- French and English communication skills strongly preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Montreal as required.

Important This is not primarily a SAP configuration/development role . The ideal consultant combines strong SAP FI knowledge with business analysis, Finance process expertise, localization, rollout and stakeholder management .
