Senior Software Engineer (Python & AWS) - Remote

Join a leading insurance organization and help build cloud-native solutions using Python and AWS.

What’s in it for you?

- $50-$58/hour (T4) or $60-$68/hour (Incorporated)
- 3.5-month contract (until December 15, 2026)
- Full time, 37.5 hours/week
- Primarily remote
- 1-2 days on-site per quarter

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support applications using Python and AWS.
- Build and maintain serverless and microservices-based solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence.

Required Skills
- 2-5 years of software development or DevOps experience.
- Strong Python development experience.
- AWS experience (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
- Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins,



GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.

Nice to Have
- AWS or Terraform certifications.
- Terraform, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes.
- AWS data services (S3, Athena, Glue, SageMaker).
- Experience with serverless and cloud-native applications.
