Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Tax Manager to lead their tax compliance and planning initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex tax strategies, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and provide expert guidance on financial transactions. Responsibilities:

- Deliver high level tax planning strategies for clients
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, while providing continuous feedback
- Coordinate & review special tax projects
- Assist with the overall management & marketing of the tax group

Qualifications:

- CPA designation and enrolled in CICA In-Depth Tax Program (or close to completion)
- Proficiency in CaseWare, Caseview, Taxprep and Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 7 year Experience in Canadian Tax at a public accounting firm at the manager level.
- Ability to forge sound working relationships with partners, clients and related advisors.




- In depth knowledge of private company Canadian income tax matters.
- Strong technical skills with a creative flair to provide practical solutions.
- Sound analytical, leadership, problem solving skills and professional judgment.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- High standard of integrity and commitment to exceptional client service.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and adapt quickly.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
