Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Class 3 Septic Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a septic truck to pump out and transport wastewater, sewage, and other waste materials from residential and commercial septic systems. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a septic truck to pump out wastewater from septic tanks and transport it to designated disposal facilities
- Safely maneuver the truck to the job site and ensure proper setup for waste extraction
- Interact professionally with customers to provide service updates, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all safety guidelines and comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste handling and disposal
- Complete necessary paperwork including time sheets, Pre-trip inspection and ELD.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License
- Previous commercial truck driving experience preferred
- 1 Year experience operating vacuum trucks is required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
- Solid attention to detail, especially in safety and compliance matters
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, other
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Applicants MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or after-hours as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Clean drivers abstract is required
