Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional, polished dining experience through attentive service, deep menu knowledge, and genuine hospitality.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS are preferred.

Guest Experience

- Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests
- Guide guests through the menu, offering detailed descriptions and thoughtful recommendations
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and gracefully
- Maintain a robust presence on the floor while ensuring a seamless dining experience

Food & Beverage Knowledge

- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Confidently recommend wine, cocktails, and pairings to complement dishes
- Communicate dietary restrictions and special requests clearly to the kitchen
- Stay informed on seasonal menu changes and feature offerings

Service Standards

- Execute fine-dining service steps (timing, pacing, clearing, resetting) with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and tables
- Ensure accuracy in order taking, billing,



and payment processing
- Collaborate with kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service flow

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to deliver a cohesive experience
- Support teammates during busy service periods
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

- 2–4+ years of serving experience, preferably in fine dining or upscale casual
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Smart Serve certification required
