Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; especially in south indian restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a lively environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling practices is highly valued
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction is advantageous
