Primary Fluid Systems Inc. is an essential, small business located in Mount Hope, Ontario. We are a certified living wage employer. We manufacture and sell metering pump accessories for use in the water & wastewater treatment industries, as well as oil & gas. Having been in business for over thirty years and with a reputation for selling quality products, we have a consistent customer base world-wide.

We sell our products locally and internationally, with regular shipments to the U.S., Australia, and U.A.E. We have a number of stock items, but many of our orders are built specifically at the request of a customer. Because of this, attention to detail is extremely key to ensure that the correct items are received and shipped.

We are currently hiring in our Shipping & Receiving departments. The long-term intention is for the hired candidate to succeed our current Shipping & Receiving Supervisor after adequate training is provided. Promotion would come with wage increase and supervisory responsibilities.

The responsibilities include

Receiving: receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments, measuring product dimensions using Vernier calipers, thread gauges, and plug gauges, to ensure incoming products meet specification.

Shipping: picking stock items from the shelf for orders, packing (boxing) orders for shipment, and arranging for couriers/transportation companies to pick up the goods (familiarity with computer use is preferred).

We are open to train, though previous Quality Control and/or Shipping/Receiving experience is an asset.





Reliable transportation is a must as our facility is outside of bus service.

Job Details
- Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday (No weekends, no overtime requirements) between 8:00am and 4:00pm
- Indoor work, with A/C in summer and heating in winter
- Closed over the winter holidays, with a short summer closure.

We are offering $22.60 to $24.00 / hour (dependent upon past work experience) to start. Wage increases happen over time as an individual proves themselves in the position.
