Responsibilities
- Assist the mechanics when needed
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials, finished goods, and supplies around the manufacturing facility
- Support the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely delivery of components and finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop floor and warehouse areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report any malfunctions promptly
Requirements
- This is a entry level position but must be mechanically inclined.
- Must live in the Grande Prairie area.
- Must be comfortable pulling a small trailer
- Must be able to travel overnight from time to time.
- Must have transportation to and from work daily.
- Must have a regular clean drivers license.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills
This is a great chance for someone just getting started. Normal hours are from 7am-3:30pm with lots of opportunity to work extra hours. We will provide any training needed. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
