About Us: Join our dynamic team at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort, a premier destination known for its stunning landscapes and year-round activities. From scenic summer weddings to corporate retreats and festive banquets, we offer a variety of events that create unforgettable memories for our guests. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to help us bring these experiences to life.

Job Summary: Are you the kind of person who loves making people smile, knows the mountain like the back of your ski glove, and thrives in a fast-paced, snow-filled environment? As a Guest Services Agent, you’ll be the friendly face (or voice!) that helps guests from the moment they book their stay to the moment they wave goodbye. You’ll be the go-to for all things accommodation, ensuring every guest has a smooth, memorable, and magical mountain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reservation Rockstar: Handle bookings like a pro—whether it’s over the phone, online, or in person.
- Check-In Wizard: Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel instantly at home. As well as solving any issue that guests might encounter on their arrival.
- Checkout Champion: Ensure departures are smooth and hassle-free, leaving guests with great memories.
- Mountain Info Guru: Share your insider knowledge about trails, lifts, events, and après-ski activities.
- Problem-Solving Pro: Tackle guest concerns with empathy and efficiency—no snowstorm too big!
- Team Player: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance,

and other departments to keep everything running like a freshly waxed snowboard.
- System Savvy: Use our reservation and POS systems to manage bookings, payments, and guest profiles.
- Daily Balancing & Deposits: Maintain and count your cash float with precision and care. Reconcile transactions and ensure all financials are squared away before hitting the slopes.
- Key Inventory Keeper: Track all keys given out and returned—because lost keys = lost sleep!

Qualifications:

- Customer Service Superpowers: Friendly, patient, and always ready to help.
- Mountain Knowledge: Familiarity with Mount Washington’s terrain, amenities, and seasonal offerings.
- Communication Skills: Explicit, professional, and upbeat—whether in person, on the phone, or via email.
- Tech Comfort: Experience with reservation systems, POS software, and basic computer skills.
- Cash Handling Experience: Comfortable with floats, deposits, and daily reconciliation.
- Detail-Oriented: Especially when it comes to keys, money, and guest records.
- Flexibility: Able to work weekends, holidays, and during peak days.
- Team Spirit: You’re reliable, collaborative, and bring good vibes to the crew.
- Previous Experience: Hospitality or customer service experience and knowledge of RDP (Resort Data Processing) is a big plus!

- Applicants must have access to consistent and reliable transportation to commute to our mountain ski resort location

Resort Conditions: Working at a Winter Resort means no two days are the same—and that's part of the adventure! You’ll get to experience a variety of unique locations, from cozy lodges to scenic mountain-top venues only accessible by chairlift. Be prepared to embrace the elements; whether it's bluebird skies, fresh snowfall, or the infamous coastal rain.

Expect to navigate multi-level lodges, steep stairways, and outdoor areas where the terrain can be sloped, snowy, or slippery, so good footwear is essential, indoors and out. Walking through large, icy parking lots is also part of the daily journey. If you love fresh air, stunning views, and a workplace that keeps you on your toes, this is the spot for you!
