Overview

We are seeking motivated and reliable Snow Removal Subcontractors to join our team for the 2026-2027 winter season in Calgary, AB. This role is perfect for experienced contractors who own their equipment and are eager to provide essential winter services. As a subcontractor, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe, accessible pathways during snow and ice conditions, helping communities and businesses stay operational and safe throughout the winter months.

Duties

- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, skid steer, blowers, and salt spreaders efficiently across designated sites.
- Clear driveways, walkways, parking lots, and entrances to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Apply de-icing materials like salt to prevent ice formation and reduce slip hazards.
- Conduct weekly inspections of the work area to identify potential hazards or obstructions.
- Maintain your equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance during snow removal operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines while performing snow removal tasks.

Requirements

- Own reliable snow removal equipment such as skid steers, loaders, snow blowers, plows.
- General liability insurance (required - can provide proof upon request)




- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of your equipment.
- Available for on-call dispatch after snow events, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Have familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance and snow clearing.
- Exhibit strong physical stamina to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
- Possess valid licenses or certifications relevant to operating heavy machinery or construction equipment (if applicable).
