Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, modify and maintain software applications and systems. The successful candidate will analyze technical requirements, write and test software code, troubleshoot issues and support the implementation and enhancement of software solutions.
Job Duties
- Design, write, read, test and correct code for new and existing software applications.
- Analyze technical and business information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.
- Evaluate relationships and dependencies between software programs to identify the impact of proposed changes.
- Write, modify, integrate and test software code for web, e-commerce, Internet and mobile applications.
- Develop and implement software enhancements and new application features.
- Identify, troubleshoot and correct software defects and programming errors.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure software functionality, reliability and performance.
- Modify and maintain existing software applications based on changing business and technical requirements.
- Participate in the implementation and integration of software applications and system components.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for new and updated software.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers and other technical team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Follow established coding, testing, security and documentation standards.
Employment Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in computer science, software development, information technology or a related field.
- Experience in software development or programming.
- Experience designing, writing, testing and maintaining software code.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming practices.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
