At Nature’s Path, we’re passionate about leaving the earth better than we found it - and that includes building a Finance team that’s collaborative, agile and ready to support meaningful change. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team on a six-month contract. As several members of our Finance team dedicate their time to our IFS Cloud upgrade, you’ll partner closely with our Corporate Controller to help lead the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the business continues to run smoothly.

What you’ll do
· Partner with the Corporate Controller to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.
· Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and account analysis.
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
· Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
· Provide guidance and support to junior members of the Finance team when required.
· Take ownership of priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs and jump in wherever support is needed during this critical period.
What you’ll bring
· CPA designation (required).
· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with experience handling intercompany transactions and large datasets using PowerQuery.
· Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and month-end close.
· A proactive, action-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
· Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
· A collaborative approach and the ability to build solid relationships across the business.
· Availability to commit to the full six-month contract.
Details
· Annualized salary of $85,000 (pro-rated for the six-month contract).
· $5,000 completion bonus upon successfully completing the contract.
· This role will be Monday to Thursday in office and Fridays working from home.
