We're hiring: Full time Stem Cell Scientist (6-Month Contract) — Greater Toronto Area

Company Description VRIT Inc. is transforming surgical care through a handheld bioprinter that removes the need for autografts and supports advanced, minimally invasive procedures. The company develops novel bioinks alongside its bioprinter, giving surgeons access to integrated, cutting-edge tools for tissue repair and regeneration.

By combining device innovation with biomaterials research, VRIT Inc. aims to improve patient outcomes and expand the possibilities of modern surgery. Team members collaborate across disciplines to bring next-generation solutions from the lab to the operating room.

Role Description The Stem Cell Scientist will play a key role in developing and optimizing stem cell–based bioinks and related biomaterials to support VRIT Inc.'s handheld bioprinter platform. This full-time, on-site position in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, involves designing and executing cell culture experiments, characterizing stem cell behaviour in novel bioink formulations, and assessing cell functionality.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and expanding stem cell lines, performing molecular and cellular assays, documenting experimental procedures and results, and collaborating with engineering and clinical teams to translate findings into surgical applications.

The Stem Cell
