Duties

- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and hygiene practices across all areas
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to optimize team productivity while ensuring coverage during peak times
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, custodial procedures, and hospitality standards

Requirements

- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services within a hospitality environment
- Robust knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety protocols




- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and interact professionally with guests
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, lifting supplies, and bending frequently
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in custodial or hospitality settings is preferred
