Position Summary The Supply Teacher provides temporary classroom coverage and ensures continuity of learning when the regular teacher is absent. The teacher follows the provided lesson plans and curriculum while maintaining a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lessons according to the provided lesson plans and curriculum.
- Teach assigned subjects such as Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies.
- Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Reinforce Islamic values, valuable manners, and positive behavior.
- Take attendance and report any significant academic, behavioral, or safety concerns.
- Follow school policies and procedures.




- Communicate relevant information to the regular teacher and school administration.

Qualifications

- Previous teaching or experience working with children and youth.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and responsible.
- Knowledge of Arabic, Qur’an, or Islamic Studies is an asset.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, as required.
