Job outlines
- Previous retail security experience will be considered an asset
- Able to stand and patrol 6 - 8 hours
- Proficient communication skills both verbal and written
- Shift and incident report writing
The Ideal Candidate
- A Valid Security License
- A keen interest in asset protection
- Willing to stand/ patrol for the duration of the shift
- Previous security experience in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills’
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Must be willing and comfortable to stop theft
- Experience with arrests and detaining shoplifters
Wages range from $20/hr to $22/hr depending on the position you apply for. The following would be considered an asset, not a requirement.
- Advanced Security Training (AST)
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OAF1)
- Drivers License
- Reliable transportation
