Takla Maintenance Corp has been involved in a wide range of landscaping projects throughout Edmonton and the surrounding communities. Our company specializes in providing a complete landscape package. We facilitate our clients' vision and budget by working together through the design development process to ensure construction is efficient, well-built, and on schedule. We work with architects, landscape architects, and general contractors in building a variety of different landscape projects.

Compensation will be based on experience/ skill level and projected role within our team.

All candidates must be willing to join a team workplace to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character. We are looking for candidates with construction and/or landscape construction experience. Candidates will be required to aid in all aspects of landscape construction from hard landscape (pavers, retaining walls, boulders, concrete) to soft landscape (grading, planting, turf, drainage).

Responsibilities and Duties include

- Use of various hand tools
- Site clean-up, etc.
- Keep daily travel log of truck
- Daily maintenance of the truck
- Pickup and delivery of landscaping material
- Clean + Tidy tandem truck

Qualifications and Skills
- Possess knowledge of construction processes
- 5+ Years’ experience within the Landscape Trades
- Dependable
- Valuable work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Willing to do physical work
- Attention to detail
- Complete paperwork efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Able to work Monday to Sunday 40 plus hrs. a week
- Complete work in a timely manner
- Previous landscaping experience is an asset
- Must have own transportation to and from the yard every day
- Must be willing to do labor about 50% of the time.



This is a must-have job requirement.
- Work well alone and with others
- Take direction from Crew Leader and Foreman for daily tasks and goals on site.
- Recognize safe operating procedures and proper training on equipment.
- Operate a variety of equipment:
- Mechanical compaction equipment
- Able to complete online courses
- Various power & and tools
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily checks, ensure all equipment is in proper working order * Perform various tasks such as:

· Maintenance of equipment and trailers. · General construction knowledge

· Loading and chaining down equipment for proper load securement

· Have an attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Work is labor-intensive and will be outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Complete paperwork efficiently and in a timely manner.

MUST HAVE

- Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years’ experience driving Tandem trucks with air break both automatic and standard.
- a clean 5-year driver abstract
- cell phone with data
