Patient Watch Attendant - Vancouver Coastal Health Securicare is seeking Patient Watch Attendants to support our healthcare security operations across Metro Vancouver within the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring patients who require additional observation to ensure their safety and well-being. This position is critical in preventing falls, self-harm, and other incidents, while working closely with healthcare teams in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in a variety of situations.Pay: $22.50Location: Vancouver General HospitalDuties & Responsibilities: Provide continuous observation and monitoring of patients requiring additional support and supervisionNotify healthcare staff promptly of any changes in patient behaviour, condition, or safety concernsSupport patient comfort and assist with mobility or repositioning when required and directedCommunicate with patients in a respectful and reassuring manner to help maintain a calm environmentMaintain accurate and timely documentation of observations and activitiesWork collaboratively with nurses, clinical staff, and healthcare teams to support overall patient careRespond appropriately to patient needs, urgent situations, and emergency eventsAssist in maintaining a safe and secure healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitorsRespond to safety-related incidents, disturbances,
