Quick Overview: Our Housing team advertises, shows, and rents out vacant units. The Rental Agent will work to fill our newest building quickly and efficiently, while ensuring that new tenants are the right fit for our different classifications of units. This position includes administrative tasks in office, field work at our buildings, supporting their team, and liaising with stakeholders and potential tenants.

What You Will Do
Reporting to the Manager of Housing, the Rental Agent is a primary customer service agent for the Society. The Rental Agent maximizes the occupancy rate of suites by actively recruiting, screening, and approving new tenants for the properties.
What You Bring
- General practical knowledge of office administration procedures and processes, including skills using computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail in collecting and reporting data.
- Ability to manage tasks, time and priorities to handle a number of different issues in a responsive and timely manner.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including being empathetic to clients and working through situations with others who are under stress, either in person or on the phone, maintaining respect and confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, to be able to learn and apply details of multiple housing program policies, Tenancy Agreements, and other guidelines.
- Ability to co-operate with other agencies supporting our applicants and tenants.

- Required to use own vehicle and maintain a valid Class 5 BC driver's license
- Hours of Work as provided in the Collective Agreement.
Compensation: $33.29/hr (35 hour work week)
