We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Atlantic Canada team as a Team Lead, based at one of our hospital locations in downtown Halifax.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of all aspects of the parking lot(s) he is assigned to during his shift, including overseeing all location parking staff during the shift.
- Patrol and inspect the parking areas to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
- Collect and deposit parking revenues.
- Ensure all procedures and internal and client policies are followed by parking staff.
- Actively identify and correct any inefficiencies in the parking operation.
- Provide assistance to customers and resolve any complaints that may arise or are escalated.
- Assign work and direct activities of a team.
- Conduct training of new parking staff.
- Relay information about incidents or emergencies to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct enforcement patrols and issue parking infractions.
- Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signs or street markings.
- Observe and report suspicious objects or vehicles.
- Monitor environmental conditions to detect possible hazards (ice, etc.).
- Use hand-held device to enter and retrieve vehicle information.
- Investigate and answer complaints regarding contested parking citations.
- Prepare and maintain operational records ie: activity logs and contested citations.
- Perform simple vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil and report mechanical problems to the Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain a qualified attitude in various situations.
- Proficient in working well within a team setting.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to handle a fast-paced work environment and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and keen observation skills.
- Demonstrates pride in delivering high-quality service.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Possession of a valid provincial driver's license class 5.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Successfully pass a criminal record check.
