We're seeking a day shift Team Lead to join our Primary Upgrading team in Fort McMurray. You will be accountable for the day-to-day management of safe, stable, efficient, and reliable production within the operating area and all aspects of personnel management at the frontline level.

Minimum Requirements:
- Five or more years of field operations or related experience in upgrading, refinery or oil and gas industry
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a complex, dynamic operating environment
- Deep understanding of maintenance, operations, and process safety standards
- 4th Class Power Engineering certification would be an asset
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a unionized workforce in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and ensure development and competency of the crew
- Ensure all aspects of the Alberta Boilers Safety Association regulations are implemented in accordance with the applicable codes and acts
- Assist with planning equipment isolation, control of hazardous energy and confined space entry preparation
- Prepare and review operational job plans by investigating work requirements, preparing logical breakdowns and sequencing of work tasks taking into account multi-craft alignment
- Maintain a visible presence in the field to foster employee engagement and assess work process effectiveness
- Lead troubleshooting initiatives and engage appropriate cross-functional resources to analyze and correct operational and equipment problems
Location and other key details:
- You will work out of our Base Plant site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- This position is safety sensitive
- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory. Relocation support will be provided; we offer competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals
