Role Description The Technician role at Infotech CA Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. In this role, the technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and networking equipment in accordance with company and client standards. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing diagnostics, replacing or repairing components, and documenting all service activities and findings.

The technician will work closely with internal teams and clients to provide transparent communication, timely updates, and practical solutions that minimize downtime. This role also involves monitoring systems for performance issues,



following safety and security procedures, and supporting continuous improvements in technical processes and customer service.

Qualifications

- Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, Access control, Intercom/Enterphones, CCTV Systems, Software, and peripherals, including basic Networking equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Capacity to read and interpret technical documentation, manuals, and procedures, and to maintain clear service records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety, security, and data protection practices when handling equipment and systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, including standing, lifting, and handling equipment as required for the role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple service requests.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent practical experience in IT, electronics, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, follow company guidelines, and participate in ongoing training and development.
