Join our dynamic security team as an Online Security and Loss Prevention Specialist, where your vigilance and expertise will play a vital role in safeguarding our retail environment. This energetic position involves monitoring digital and physical security measures to prevent theft, fraud, and other security threats. You will be instrumental in maintaining a secure shopping experience for customers and a secure working environment for staff, utilizing advanced surveillance tools and law enforcement collaboration.

Responsibilities

- Monitor online transaction activities and digital platforms for suspicious behavior or fraudulent activity using specialized surveillance software.
- Conduct CCTV surveillance across store premises, including entrances, exits, and high-value areas, to deter theft and identify security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report incidents, gather evidence, and support investigations related to theft or security violations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by analyzing data trends, identifying vulnerabilities, and executing targeted interventions.
- Perform regular security audits, fence checks, and visual inspections to ensure all physical security systems are operational and effective.




- Respond promptly to security alerts or incidents by coordinating emergency responses and documenting all actions taken in detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities, CCTV footage logs, incident reports, and access control records to support ongoing investigations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in law enforcement, security operations, or loss prevention within a retail or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and related monitoring equipment.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques, including theft deterrence strategies and incident response procedures.
- Ability to analyze surveillance footage critically and identify suspicious behavior or potential threats swiftly.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with law enforcement agencies, team members, and management.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to document incidents accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to ensure continuous security coverage.
