Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tire Repairman to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining tires to ensure vehicle safety and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our customers safe on the road while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and punctures using hand tools and power tools.
- Remove damaged or worn tires from vehicles safely using appropriate mechanical techniques.
- Repair or replace tires by mounting, balancing, and installing new units as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tire equipment and ensure all tools are in proper working order.
- Assist customers by explaining tire repair procedures, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Perform heavy lifting of tires and related equipment to facilitate repairs efficiently.




- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in dealership or automotive repair environments is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to tires, wheels, and automotive systems.
- Experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tire irons; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to lift heavy tires repeatedly while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices.
- Basic sales skills to recommend additional services or products when appropriate.
