Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Toddler Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood learning and growth for toddlers
- Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s development, daily activities, and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom activities using computer-based systems




- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to create a secure environment for children and staff
- Collaborate with team members to organize classroom routines, manage time efficiently, and uphold organizational standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices including FLIGHT
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for effective collaboration with families and team members
- Proficiency in classroom management software (KinderLogix)
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Valid certification in childcare or early childhood education; additional credentials in special education is advantageous
- Proficient in English is a must
