AURORA WONDERLAND TOURS INC. (dba Aurora Wonderland & Beck's Kennels Tours) is seeking 4 Tour Guides for their Aurora Borealis and Sled Dog tours in Yellowknife.
Full time, $22.00 per hour, bonus depends on performance, 30-40 hours per week.
- Escort individuals or groups on scheduled tours of the Aurora Borealis;
- Escort individuals or groups on scheduled sled dog tours;
- Describe the Aurora Borealis and sled dogs, answer questions, and provide information
- about points of interest on the tours;
- Provide historical and scientific facts about the phenomenon;
- Offer additional attraction packages while on tour;
- Ensure safety of all travellers on group tours.
Duties:
- Escort individuals or groups on scheduled tours of the Aurora Borealis;
- Escort individuals or groups on scheduled sled dog tours;
- Describe the Aurora Borealis and sled dogs, answer questions, and provide information

- Provide historical and scientific facts about the phenomenon;

Requirements:
- On-the-job training is provided;
- English language ability required;
- Secondary school completion is an asset;
- Experience in Aurora viewing and sled dog tours are an asset;
- Driver's license is an asset;
- Japanese and Chinese language is an asset.
