Role Description Roles dependent on contract and location!!

The Travel

Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring across different healthcare facilities. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting care in accordance with regulatory standards, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and health management. The role requires adapting quickly to new environments, following facility-specific protocols, and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and safety.

The Travel





Nurse will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and support colleagues in delivering consistent, compassionate care.

Qualifications

- Active nursing license (Registered Nurse or equivalent) in good standing, eligible to practice in Canada.
- Clinical experience in hospital or acute care settings, with strong skills in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.
- Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices, infection control standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to adapt to new facilities and workflows, including flexibility with schedules, units, and shift assignments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in accurate documentation and use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated reliability, time management, and organizational skills in quick-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and work in various geographic locations as assigned.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS or other advanced certifications are an asset.
- Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; additional training or specialization (e.g., critical care, medical-surgical, emergency) is beneficial.
