What You Will Do:

Reporting to the Treasurer, the Treasury Analyst will play a key role in managing the day-to-day cash flow for TriSummit Utilities. This position supports the organization’s Canadian and U.S. utilities by ensuring liquidity is optimized, funding requirements are met, and financial reporting is accurate and timely. The role works closely with Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis to provide visibility into cash positions and support strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Support the analysis, monitoring, and management of the Company’s daily cash position and investments.

- Set up wire payments and intercompany transfers in the banking platform.

- Prepare daily, monthly, and annual cash forecasts to support borrowing and investing decisions.

- Analyze liquidity requirements and coordinate borrowings and repayments of funds to and from the credit facility.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury reporting activities.

- Prepare variance summaries and analysis for management review.

- Monitor compliance covenants in debt agreements, prepare quarterly compliance certificates, and provide covenant forecasting as required.





- Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis to refine forecast models and incorporate macroeconomic data inputs.

- Process changes to bank account access and user entitlements.

- Support the settlement of foreign exchange hedging transactions.

- Reconcile hedge positions and monitor mark-to-market exposures.

- Assist with the preparation of rating agency and investor relations materials.

- Support compliance with treasury procedures, banking requirements, and internal controls.

- Support audits by providing required documentation.

- Help develop and document treasury procedures.

- Support other special projects as required.

What You Will Need to Succeed: This position has the following occupational requirements:

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Commerce, Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders.

- Well-organized and able to manage time effectively, with careful attention to detail and a professional approach to work.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal, to support reporting, stakeholder coordination, and treasury-related communications.

- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.

- Interest in treasury or corporate finance, with a desire to build practical experience in a utility or energy infrastructure environment.

- Collaborative working style and ability to build productive relationships across teams.

- Solid analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
