User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead

Location: PCS CA, Toronto

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced UAT Lead with strong Finance/Risk domain expertise to oversee end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in managing UAT planning, execution, project coordination, stakeholder coordination, defect management, and business sign-off. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, with a preference for candidates with experience in Commercial Lending.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for banking applications and digital transformation initiatives.
- Own assigned UAT deliverables, including test plan, test case preparation, execution, defect validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate UAT requirements.
- Review and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate UAT planning, test data preparation, setting readiness, and execution activities.
- Manage UAT defect lifecycle,



including defect triage, prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
- Work closely with Development, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Monitor UAT progress, identify risks, and provide mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present UAT status reports, dashboards, and metrics to project leadership.
- Ensure all critical business scenarios are tested and meet business expectations before production deployment.
- Facilitate UAT sign-off from business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior UAT analysts and drive best practices across the testing team.
- Support production validation and post-release verification when required.

Mandatory Skills

- Commercial Lending experience is an added advantage.
- Banking experience.
- Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Pega is a deal breaker.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in UAT within the finance or banking sector.
