for candidates participating in the recruitment process. Reporting to the Superintendent, Detour Underground Operations, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department.

You will be responsible for all safety, contractor productivity management, and cost targets for the development of the current Detour underground operation. You will be a key team member responsible for the planning and operations of mining activities. Model and reinforce safety procedures, inspect workstations, address safety concerns, and ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies

- Coordinate daily mining activities, ensure productivity levels, provide technical support, and participate to the mine design
- Administer policies, manage contractor and inventory, track costs against the budget, and assist in budget setting.

High School

Diploma or equivalent

- Five years’ experience as an underground mining supervisor, with at least three years’ as a Mine Captain or General Supervisor
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Schedule:4/3 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine
