Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated family. As the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, solid communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the clinic.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area and waiting room.

Experience

- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is required.




- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards both clients and animals.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using avimark software is an asset.

Hours: Monday and Thursday 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm, Friday 8 am to 6 pm and one Saturday per month 8:30 am to 4 pm. Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
