Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and care.

Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis.

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian, ensuring proper documentation.

Provide compassionate patient restraint and monitoring throughout various procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

Maintain clean and organized treatment areas, surgical suites, and laboratory spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.

Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health practices.

Support inventory management by restocking supplies,



preparing surgical instruments, and tracking medication usage.

Qualifications

Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic testing processes.

A valid veterinary technician license or certification is preferred; however, we welcome motivated individuals eager to obtain certification.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical procedures clearly to pet owners.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a lively setting.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle animals of various sizes safely.

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
