Role Description The Vice President, Client Partnerships is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for leading strategic relationships with key clients across public, private, and emerging venture segments. This role oversees the development and execution of client partnership strategies, including identifying growth opportunities, shaping AI and IT consulting engagements, and ensuring delivery outcomes align with clients’ strategic objectives. The position involves close collaboration with consulting, technology, and delivery teams to design solution roadmaps, manage portfolios of engagements, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
The Vice
President will routinely participate in executive-level discussions, develop proposals, negotiate commercial terms,
and provide thought leadership on AI-enabled digital transformation. Day-to-day activities include overseeing account plans, mentoring partnership and engagement teams, monitoring performance metrics, and representing Turbo AI™ in industry forums and community initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management, account leadership, and strategic partnership development within consulting, technology, AI, or digital transformation environments.
- Significant experience in enterprise business development, strategic account management, client partnerships, or management consulting, with a proven ability to develop and close complex, high-value engagements.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, government leaders, boards, and other senior executive decision-makers.
- Experience shaping and delivering complex AI, data, or IT strategy programs, including digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, analytics, or intelligent systems initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen in business development, including opportunity identification, strategic account planning, proposal development, contract negotiation, and revenue growth with enterprise and public sector clients.
- Demonstrated track record of building new markets, developing strategic partnerships, generating qualified business opportunities, and converting executive relationships into sustainable commercial outcomes.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring,
and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Advanced communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to present to C-level audiences, translate complex technical concepts into strategic and commercial value, and produce clear, persuasive reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian enterprise and public sector business environment; an established professional network across Canadian organizations, industry, government, or institutional communities is considered a significant asset.
- Ability to represent Turbo AI™ at executive forums, conferences, industry events, government engagements, and community initiatives with a high level of professionalism and executive presence.
- Relevant academic background in business, law, technology, engineering, economics, computer science, public policy, communications, or a related field; a graduate degree such as an MBA, JD/LLB, or equivalent is an asset.
- Candidates with exceptional academic credentials from internationally recognized institutions, including Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, or leading Canadian universities, are encouraged to apply.
- A background in corporate, commercial, technology, regulatory, or public-sector law is considered an asset, particularly where it demonstrates strong understanding of governance, contracts, risk, and enterprise decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills are essential. Candidates with solid backgrounds in English, communications, rhetoric, literature, law, public policy, or executive communications are encouraged to apply.
- Track record of working in or with AI, analytics, intelligent systems, emerging technologies, or technology-enabled business transformation.
