The Township of Oro-Medonte is currently recruiting for the position of “Volunteer Firefighters” for Station #2 (East Oro) and Station #6 (Moonstone).

Successful applicants must have the following:

1. A valid G2 Class Ontario driver's licence; with a clean driver’s abstract
2. DZ license preferred (must obtain within two years of employment)
3. 18 years of age or older at time of application, with no criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
4. Live within an acceptable distance to one of the hiring fire stations

All interested applicants are required to attend one of the following mandatory scheduled sessions:

1. Wednesday, September 16 @ 7:00pm

Location: Station #2 East Oro (259 Line 11 N)

1. Tuesday, September 29 @ 7:00pm

Location: Station #6 Moonstone (5668 Line 7 N) Interested applicants can attend either session
