Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and warehouse facilities to ensure safety standards are met
- Support manufacturing processes by handling raw materials and finished goods with mechanical knowledge and precision
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and construction-related tasks
- Collaborate with team members to organize warehouse distribution activities and optimize space utilization
Skills
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Robust mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 or equivalent software
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, packaging standards, and order fulfillment processes
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for understanding heavy equipment use and safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy warehouse setting
Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 19.0 per week
