Nu-West Construction Products is Canada’s largest distributor of commercial and industrial mechanical insulation. We are looking for a reliable, motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our team and support our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan daily workflow by reviewing work orders, arrival notices, and customer instructions.
· Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently.
· Fulfill inbound and outbound orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Operate forklifts confidently and safely, including performing routine equipment checks and reporting any deficiencies.
· Follow all procedures and policies related to Transload operations.
· Monitor upcoming jobs and operational trends to recommend adjustments to warehouse layout, supply levels, equipment needs, or staffing.
· Perform other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
· Shipping and receiving experience required.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Comfortable using computers and ERP systems.
· Valid forklift certification (counterbalance or reach truck).
· Strong commitment to workplace safety.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Strong math skills.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
